Opened in 1982
Brad's Cookie Nook was an idea of owner, Brad Blain, to fill his entrepreneur's personality...
While Brad worked at RIT Foodservice, he dreamed of owning his own business but was not sure which direction to go.
After a trip to New York City, he determined that there was a need for home styled, fresh baked cookies in the Rochester area and the "new" mall that was being built in Henrietta was just the place. And so, the first Brad's Cookie Nook was opened in October of 1982 at Marketplace Mall.
Brad was 25 at the time! As he built his empire of cookie stores, malls came and went, cookie carts and area festivals came and went, but the foundation of baking fresh cookies daily has always remained. Today, Brad's still owns the only remaining Brad's Cookie Nook is in the world! He delivers cookies and dough wholesale to several local businesses as well as fulfills cookie trays and basket orders. Now, as he launches into the internet world, the site offers online ordering as well as gifts and novelties for all the cookie lovers in the world! Look for Brad Cookie Nook cookies in various restaurants also.
However, after being in business in Marketplace mall almost 34 years we are saddened to say we have closed storefront doors.
As you can see from our website - we are STILL HERE THOUGH! We now offer most of our current products via the web... and deliver right to your door by either local delivery or by shipping.
We have appreciated your business for more than three decades. Our delicious cookies will still be available and we look forward to continuing to do business with you in the future.
Thank you for your business and support,
Bradley K Blain
